The outdoor track relays on the last night of the Sydney Olympics. My mate and I had front row seats on the back stretch and were dressed in convict outfits. A magic atmosphere with some great races in which we gave high 5's to several of the teams as they passed on their victory lap. (Why wouldn't you give high 5's to two guys in convict outfits with plenty of beer on board?)
