The U$C game where OJ completed his only pass on 4th and goal to Dan Scott, who fell backward into the end zone to beat us.
Not an individual effort but a great D that let 2 guys shine.
In the 1st half $C ran student body left and right at least 2 dozen times. The halftime stat I remember is that OJ had 48 yds on 25 carries, with Jim Kauffman and Don Parish continually dragging him down from behind before he could really turn either corner.
I love great D plays in every sport. A few years later I saw Dr J make his West Coast NBA debut against the W's in Oakland. Rick Barry, not known for his defense, stuffed Dr J's first shot back in his face --- welcome to the NBA!
1973 World Series at Shea Stadium --- Reggie Jackson caught a fly ball in the deep RF corner. Runner on 2nd thought about tagging up, but changed his mind quickly when Reggie threw an absolute seed on the fly to 3B. You could hear the crowd go "ooooh" on TV.
