So what you're saying is that the number one recruit in the nation, who had her freshman year cut short by an injury, who rehabbed all summer, who is now one of the best players in the country, intentionally threw away one or more games in her career, so that she could go and do something "naughty".......

There is nothing about that that makes any sense.  At all.

A far more plausible explanation:  Early in the Oregon game she drove the lane and stepped on the foot of a defender and went down awkwardly.  She stayed on the floor for an extra moment to take 'inventory' and then got up.  On a replay you can see her turn her ankle.  That she was held out for precautionary reasons against a team like Utah because she was experiencing some soreness makes more sense.
