The differences in their day they finished what they started so the decisions were usually on them. Now they go five innings get through the order twice, throw 112 pitches (if they make it through 6 they are considered heroes). Five relievers follow. So wins for starters today don’t matter much; as they have turned over control to the parade of relievers. .
