FWIW - I would love to see what happens if the University of South Bend is #1 or #2. 

In that case, the University of South Bend will summarily be declared the national champion and the playoff that year will be for the second place.  ::)  Or whatever special clause that suits the Domers will be in place, I'm sure.

Hopefully, as with the BCS, the Domer clause will never come into play.
