A baseball championship would go a long way towards taking the sting out of losing the Cup. I'd take that deal. 
And I guess we'll just have to start a new streak.

The NACDA methodology has always been rather arbitrary, so it was inevitable that the NACDA would eventually find a formula that would get a different school to the top.

In this academic year dominated by COVID-19 I was thankful the AD was able to extend the annual NCAA team title streak.   It is clear, it is objective.   And it will take decades for any other school to even approach the current run.

Given all the challenges with trying to keep an athletic department viable in SCC during COVID-19, this year for the AD could have been much worse.
