The USA has advanced to the finals, which will be against Hungary, Saturday at 10:15AM PDT. (If you want to know how to watch, PM me.)
I was able to watch the semi-finals and the USA seems heads and shoulders above the other teams in the tournament. It was not just European teams; I didn't check but this may have included all the teams going to the Olympics. The USA's scores have been 16-9, 20-2, 18-9, 20-6, and 17-9 (Semifinal vs Russia; ? I may be wrong on the actual score; 13-4 at end of 3). The other semifinal was between Hungary and Canada. Hungary beat Canada by a handful in the semi, but lost to Russia by 1 during group play.
The US hosted 4 games against Hungary and 3 games against Canada in May and won all, with the closest being a 12-7 win over Hungary.
