Thanks for posting. There's a temptation to say, "It's 2021, not 1981. We're past the time when gay people have to remain in the closet." That should be true, but sadly, it's not. As one of my friends recently said, "We need Pride Month because there are still gay teens out there who think it's better to be dead than gay." Now we have an example of one of the most "manly" people in the world -- a successful defensive lineman in the prime of an NFL career -- who's existence proves that you don't need to be straight to be a real man. Some of us -- probably most of us -- already know that, but this revelation is important to some people out there.
