I hate the announcers talking to baseball players in-game. Most players are vacant and most announcers answer their own questions. Every questioning announcer should be made to study Mike Wallace's style and ask the question quickly in a way that elicits a useable answer. Jack Buck doesn't get it and it's why his HBO show tanked. I'd throw in studying Costas too. He and Mike the best I ever worked with.
