If she can create off the dribble a little, hit the open long ball and build on her excellent passing skills, she is going to get a lot of time. I think her quickness (and by extension her defensive ability) will determine her ceiling.Agree regarding Lacie and Hannah. Don't sleep on either of them!
We probably shouldn’t count out either Lacie or Hannah as a potential backcourt starter either and certainly as central parts of the rotation, depending upon how big we go. Of course, Haley can be a guard and bring the ball up, but that may not be the best use of her skills and energy.
We may see a team that doesn't play with a true PG. Tara could instead go with the 5 that play best together and in a certain way, and bring the ball up by committee. We could assume that 4 of the spots are locked (Anna, Lexie, Haley, Cam). We know Haley can bring it up if need be. So "who's the 5th?". IMO, Lacey is the most versatile of the bunch. She can bring it up, defend, attack, rebound and she has more experience. While I am a fan of the other players mentioned, think Lacie could be the better choice with the other 4 starters vs. more of a specialty player.
Also Tara loves the competitiveness of the twins. What coach wouldnt? :) I can recall her mentioning that in scrimmages, if she put the twins on the same team, that team would win.
