This could be a terrific team.

Seven of the nation's top 11 ranked teams were in the field.

Stanford finished behind #8, #5, and #1.
And ahead of #3, #4, #6 (Illinois, playing on its home course), and #11.

They did this despite a horrible performance by Ethan, who managed a quad, a quint, and five doubles.
(Karl Vilips didn't have a single hole over bogey.)

The fact Ng qualified as #1, was our #2 scorer last year, and had eight birdies (only Micheal T had more) all suggest he belongs in the top five.

Last year was another year.  I am sure he will get another tournament or two in the top 5, but he will have to improve significantly to stay there.  There are guys staying back home who can play a fair amount better than he did in this tournament.
