There is a delay of game penalty on the books for defenses simulating a snap count. In the thread with Max Browne, Peyton Pelluer says that WSU was called for it 3 times when they played USC in LA in 2018. But maybe the officials yesterday did not consider yelling "move!" to be mimicking a snap count.
I'd like to know if yelling "move" was the only thing the Ducks were doing. Getting offensive linemen to jump is a nefarious form of cheating that is common at lower levels of football. I remember encountering this in youth football and high school. For some reason refs are not very sympathetic to complaints about this behavior.
