Stanford shoots -11 today and holds a 1 shot lead over Oklahoma with 4 holes to play.

Stanford's 1 shot lead is courtesy of Michael Thorbjornsen, Stanford's final player on the course, who birdied the 18th hole. Clutch!!

Thorbjornsen's final round 66 led a Stanford team on which each player shot par or better - Thorbjornsen 66, Shimp 67, Vilips 68, Alex Yang (frosh playing in his first college tournament) 68, Ng 70.

All of this with Walker Cupper Barclay Brown not playing. The result from this tournament has to be a h.uge confidence boost to the team and a message to the college golf world that Stanford can contend for a championship this season.

Remrkable: a second and a first in the the most competitive events of the year, and without their #2(Brown)
