The question, "can men's soccer excel?" is a "no duh yes." While team success may not be the best, there are a number of good soccer players from Stanford. Ryan Nelsen has played in the EPL and been to World Cups. Chad Marshall was one of the best centerbacks in MLS before getting sidetracked by concussions. Todd Dunivant is one of the best left backs in MLS. So hopefully this Gunn fella can succeed.
