I also don't think Patterson would be interested in a DC job.
Interesting to note that Patterson's last truly good season was the 2017 campaign (11-3) when the Horned Frogs came back and beat us in the Alamo Bowl and were ranked 9th in the final AP poll. That Alamo Bowl loss still hurts. Since then, TCU has finished 7-6 (2018), 5-7 (2019), 6-4 (2020) and 3-5 (2021) for a 21-22 record during the last four years. Stanford is 20-19 during this same period.
