Until I saw Helen Gurley Brown's obit this week, I was not aware she had endowed a journalism/technology institute at Stanford and Columbia universities earlier this year the David and Helen Gurley Brown Institute for Media Innovation.

It seems the Cosmo Girl married well late hubby David was a Stanford grad.
