The UConn media market is really small, and most other schools will have football and/or men's basketball players taking the generic athlete from the school opportunities.
I imagine you all understand this scenario but for me it’s a game changer in terms of how I see the future of the sport. O
Unless the money ramps up a lot for most women the better players will go to a place that maximizes revenue and opportunities after college. However the transfer thing is real and will mean that some schools will have pull to attract all of the best players in the USA. Most of the USA's biggest public universities have very small freshman classes and then have people transfer in from other places to complete their studies on the main campus. So attracting and accepting transfer students for sports won't be that big of a deal for those schools or the students that attend those schools.
