Does Stanford have a "get back" coach on the sidelines? How are they doing? Is the performance of the get back coach or towel waver (or lack thereof) slowly destroying the program from within?
No, I don't want to discuss that. I began Peter Jackson's (spoiler: magnificent) Get Back Sunday morning in lieu of reading about Saturday's laid egg. Any thoughts from music/Beatles fans? Phogge, both the audio and video quality are pristine on a 4k TV. As they searched for a project medium that ultimately became what we just saw 52 years later, the lads discussed how they should switch from 16mm to 35mm so if it went to theatrical release it would at least look good. They switched studios, but not film that I can recall. How did Jackson polish this amazing footage?
Trigger warning: It turns out Yoko isn't the bad guy. No one is the bad guy. But, some of her screeching makes the final cut. A six- or seven-year-old Heather Eastman goes toe to toe with her, though. If Yoko Ono Lennon was not a co-producer, if I were Jackson, I would have added something to the opening warning. Warning: Film contains adult language, mature themes, smoking, and Yoko Ono. Viewer discretion advised.
If you aren't a Beatles fan, I'd suggest starting with Episode 3 and if that turns you into a Beatles fan, go to the beginning. I think this thing totals something like 9 hours. I'd watch the other 41 hours of footage Jackson left in the vault.
