One reason why, although the loss of the safeties is a considerable concern, I actually think whoever replaces Bedmosi (Browning at the moment, Lyons later?) will probably be an improvement, at least in pass defense. I always assumed that Bademosi held his job in part because he was such a strong defender against the run. But one look at Lyon's HS film gives you the idea this guy can defend the run as well.Â
