The first ITA team rankings of the year just dropped, and here's the top 25, with Stanford bolded and teams on our schedule in italics:

This poll is a coaches' ballot; as per usual, later rankings will use the rankings algorithm. #17 is similar to where we finished last year, at #23 (but where we had Pepperdine on the ropes both times). This says we're slightly better. I think that's wrong. I think we're a lot better, and we'll start proving that in a couple of weeks. As you can see, we'll have our opportunities, with three of the top 5 and five of the top 10 on our schedule. If we can manage to beat UVA in Charlottesville, we'll have even more top matches.
