I will wear two masks.
As I watched the exponential number of cases rise in the county and suddenly knew so many more people afflicted with Covid — friends, neighbors, and relatives — I have developed even more appreciation for the public health professionals wrestling with public policies to guide us safely through this epidemic. Now, I am watching the data showing the number of cases declining, indicating that things might open up again. I, for one, will gladly venture forth to see our WBB team play the Arizona schools at Maples, albeit heavily masked with a liberal amount of alcohol to wash my hands when I feel the need to.
I wonder if we ought to take the lower case numbers and the reopening of attendance at Maples next week as indicators that is is safer to go to the Cal game on Sunday. I’m tempted. Anyone else tempted similarly?
