USC always has a “rising” vibe, followed by an “overrated” vibe once they take the field.  Maybe this time it will be different, but let’s see them play some games before we announce the newest guy the savior.

That being said, I’m not disputing your characterization of Stanford.  We are in for a tough year; no amount of wishcastung will produce us a experienced and deep defensive line.
