Anybody find the last Bengals play oddly reminiscent of the Niners last play two weeks earlier? Jimmy was crushed by his critics. Burrow, not so much.

Stats? 

Burrow: 22-33 for 263 (75 on the face mask PI), 1 TD, 0 Ints, 39.7 QBR, 101 rating, 7 sacks
Garappolo: 23-32 for 316, 1 TD, 2 Ints (one on the last gasp play), 49.0 QBP, 87 rating, 3 sacks

Those Garoppolo stats are from Week 18.

NFCCG: 16/30 232 7.7 YPA 2TD 1 INT 0 sacks 87.1 QBR

At least the Niners didn't lose because the refs gifted the game to Rams. They lost because they couldn't run the ball well enough and dropped a room service interception. Garoppolo could have been more productive, but that's not why they lost.

Still, the last plays were pretty similar.

Niners lost to Rams cause they couldn’t run.  Got beat at LOS on offense and couldn’t get off field on defense. 

Bengals lost cause their offensive line got thrashed. And they couldn’t get off field when it counted. 

Some similarities. QB isn’t one of them. No matter how you play with stats.
