I agree with you that Provost Drell should give serious consideration to firing Muir; I’ve given my myriad of reasons in another post. While I think the Shaw skeptics have a strengthening case for long term pessimism vis a vis Shaw, he is a coach who as recently as 4 years ago (3 non-COVID seasons ago) got us to 9 wins. From my perspective, he has earned the right to try to resurrect the program. Maybe he won’t, and a few years from now, I will acknowledge that you guys were right, but I think he has earned himself the chance. But if you are so determined to fire a guy who has 8 post season appearances in 11 years coaching (10 if you exclude 2020), why is it ok that the guy who has done bupkis in 6 years doesn’t earn himself a spot on your hashtag?
