How in the world is that Stanford Football Personnel related?

My thinking was Stanford becoming part of a league viewed as a second tier conference would make it harder to bring the most elite prep players to the Farm regardless of whether Shaw or any other staff member is doing the recruiting.

Also thinking the best young recruits may look less favorably at future NIL opportunities at Stanford versus teams in an ascending first tier conference.
