I looked up the last Buck/Cardinal club annual report I could find, it was for 2018-19

for that year giving was ~$15.3m ($10m in B/C gifts and $5.3m in expendable gifts) so last year's $76m was a massive bump from previous years (assuming 2018-19 was a typical year), I assume a lot of the increase was endowing various parts of various sports and the original article says 

Stanford’s commitment to the future of all 36 sports will require a sustained fundraising effort, however, as the financial challenges facing Stanford Athletics remain in place. “In order to pursue athletic excellence at the highest level, we estimate needing at least $300 million in additional philanthropic support over the next few years,” Denney said.

which puts the total at ~$400m, which is larger than the ~$200m I recall they talked about when they cut the 11 sports

“few years” is doing a lot of work there.
