Wow wow wow. I'm so sorry to hear this. And I have to wonder what happened here.
It's been a while since a WBB player transferred out before getting her Stanford degree—an opportunity that JVG would be giving up by transferring at this point. For those who've gone that route, I had the vague sense that there were either clashes with the coaches or issues over whether they'd see the court. Jana was clearly going to be a key player for us next year now that we've lost Anna, Jordan, the Hulls, and apparently Jenna Brown. And I've never gotten the impression that she and Tara had issues. Tara was very complimentary of her at the banquet, and she certainly seems quite close with her teammates. This is a real head-scratcher for me—and a real loss for us.
