Re JVG, could this be NIL sticking its nose in the tent?  Maybe coaches can’t contact you until you are in the portal, but what about NIL agents?

See the claims in the MBB national champion NCAA Level 1 cases defense that they paid the player’s family but were not boosters of the school.

To be clear, I am not saying that JVG did anything wrong. I am saying that people who provide NIL may claim that they can contact players not in the portal.
