Ditto Mike Montgomery. And, by contrast, the apparently lovable Paul Wiggin...
Montgomery was noted for his prickly personality, which probably carried over to his coaching. Never met Wiggin, but I always saw him described as the consummate gentleman, which led me to suspect that perhaps his problem was that he was too nice a guy and not demanding enough of his assistant coaches and players.
