As another contrast, I certainly have the impression that Tara is generally not considered a jerk.

It is interesting to contrast the responses here to reports of this coach, versus the responses on this board to reported complaints about Molly Goodenbour at USF.

I would not excuse any coach for any of their behaviors towards their players.  I didn't experience jerks as coaches, nor did I go through boot camp or other experience where anything goes in terms of making you do something.  Where being a jerk turns into being an abuser is a wide gray line.
