Stanford has shown its potential. They have the players to win. The question is whether they can show consistency over the final 36 holes that they have not demonstrated in recent tournaments. It has to start with leadership and solid play at the top from Vilips and Thorbjornsen.
Consistency has been this team's bugaboo all season. They will need to get that monkey off their back to hold a top 3 spot.
