Central Catholic’s Rick Lorenz has a problem any volleyball coach in the state would envy. He’s having trouble getting his full team together for practice because the early season has been filled with campus visits as his players decide where their future will take them.  Kailee Johnson, a 6-foot-3 middle and basketball star, is making the Pac-12 tour, spending last week at USC and Stanford. Immediately after Thursday’s sweep over rival Gresham, she was off on a two-hour drive to Eugene to visit the Ducks.

Keil Moore reports she wil visit Washington, and the UCLA site notes she vited them along with Erica McCall.  Those two must know each other pretty well now, if they did not already.

In short, Kailee is visiting almost every west coast Pac-12 school.  One of her coaches did say she probably would choose Stanford if she got in, but she is spending so much time evaluating all the other schools that I wonder if she is worried about admission.  However, at one point she was interested in Harvard and Princeton along with Cal, Washington, Stanford, Oregon, and UCLA.  The fact that she was interested in the Ivies would lead me to believe that she is academically inclined and hopefully will be a good fit for Stanford.
