Barger, 10th grade dropout, lived in an SRO hotel with his father who beat his mother, Barger assaulted his high school teachers.

He formed the Oakland Hells Angels chapter in 1957, became the nationwide president in 1958. He was arrested more than 20 times and in prison for 13+ years. A genuinely bad guy.
