It’s hard to find all the results going that far back, but best on what I found, in 2005, Stanford QB’s (including Edwards) were sacked 42 times and 337 pass attempts (so total drop backs were 379), so Stanford QB’s (mostly, but not exclusively Edwards) were sacked in 11% of dropbacks (roughly one in nine dropbacks).
Last year, our QB’s were sacked 32 times in 404 pass attempts plus times sacked), a rate of 7.9%, or roughly once in 12-13 dropbacks.
While that’s still really bad, it’s not Edwards level bad. Given that all OL are coming back, it is reasonable to expect some improvement, so I don’t think it is a given that McKee’s date will be as bad as Edwards.
