Peat, I can understand, but Jones is baffling. Is SC without good rb's? I'm not familiar with their rb roster, but that would be a big surprise. I imagine Peat and Jone talked so they both must have concluded to leave independent of the other. There's some discussion here re rb coach no longer a giant among men, but with possible big improvement in OL and good QB, why leave for what's usually an overstocked roster position? Was there a big falling out? Did Shaw indicate Smith was going to be #1?
