The deeper you are in scholarship recruits the less opportunity there will be for walk-ons to contribute, so this is hard to judge. But Tremayne certainly has been an enormous success. We'll see how much longer he plays for Stanford. He'll have a sixth year of eligibility in 2023 and could conceivably apply for a seventh, though my default assumption is this is his last year. Whatever happens, big success for a walk-on. Jorgensen would qualify as a modest success too. How many walk-on success stories should we expect/want at one time? It seems to me 1-2 at a time is a fine performance.
