Corosdale was a grad transfer (to Duk), so it's hard to glean much from a grad transfer particularly after she spent five years in the program. Brown, on the other hand, seemed genuinely unhappy on the court at times and was kind of a turnover machine. In the second half of last season, Mitrovic was getting a lot of Brown's minutes. Rueck's system has the posts doing a lot of interior screening for guards, so maybe she got tired of screening for von Oelhoffen? I think Brown wasn't a fit for Rueck's grind it out game plan.

I can't explain why Jones would transfer to Texas. Anyone who voluntarily signs up for Schaefer has a lot of growing up to do. LOL.

Rueck strikes me as having some Monty characteristics. He runs his system and if you don't like it, shrug. There's a lot of teeth gnashing on the OSU board these days, but I think some of the complainers are newbies who don't remember how bad OSU was before Rueck came in and saved the program.

FWIW, Beers looks like exactly what Rueck is looking for. It's going to really hurt to run into her picks. And Gardiner is really really skilled. I can't figure out why they couldn't sign a high quality guard to play with Von Oelhoffen, who is going to end up bringing the ball up. Oddly, OSU has a version of our problem, i.e. their most skilled and versatile offensive player is also the one who might end up playing out of position at the point.
