The first headscratcher for me was just before the half when we were up 7-0.  Shaw went for it on 4th and 2 and not much left on the clock, and we came up short.  Taking the (makeable) FG would have given us a 2-score halftime lead AND we would get the ball to start the 3Q.  We tend to bash Shaw for being too conservative, but IMHO going for it was really a stupid risk to take.

BUT ND subsequently fumbled and Karty converted on the last play of the half to give us a 10-0 lead.  Now THAT was luck.
