It’s hard to say that Notre Dame should have won on fundamentals.

Matt pointed out that we were within 0.18 yards per play, which is extremely close and not deterministic.

We also outgained them 385 to 301 in total yards and 21 to 16 in first downs.

We did a number of things well enough to win. It’s statistically easier to say that we should have lost the ORST game than this one.
