Fair enough, monster is unhelpful hyperbole and the fumbles were dreadful, but consider the expectations.
When I heard from Troy Clardy about the state of our offensive line I thought we were burnt toast, and yet we were able to consistently get runs of 3-5 yards on first and second down and dominate time of possession.
We're nowhere within winning this game without a running game that they needed to respect and that's exactly what him and the offensive line gave us.
I concede workhorse is the much better descriptor, but adjusted for expectations it was an awesome surprise.
