After a 39-hour travel day, I would have slept long and hard upon seeing the result of the UCLA game. When so much is wrong, it's hard to know where to start. Better to sleep on it. Anyway, as usual, thanks for the effort at dissecting this corpse.
As for any hopes of 6-6, yes, beating the Cougs in Palo Alto is absolutely a must. We stand at 3-5, which means we have four games left and need to win three of them to finish 6-6. Unless Rising is unfit to play in our contest vs. the Utes, you can call that game a definitive L. That leaves 3 games: Cal, BYU, Wazzu. We need to win all 3. They are all must-wins. Will we? I wouldn't wager anything above 1 Euro (or $, since they are roughly at parity these days). And, for the record, I am for a 6-win season; but I am also for a complete overhaul of the current leadership of the football program. It can't happen soon enough.
