But even if your position is that you have no interest in going to the toilet bowl, i would think that would make you agnostic about getting to 6-6 instead of actually rooting against the team.
I would very much like to be proven wrong in my conclusions about the team, but there is a large contingent of people who would rather be right than win.

For the record, I don't give two sh!tz and a can of Shinola about "being right". All I want is for David Shaw to be the former head coach. The longer he hangs around the deeper the hole Stanford must climb to get out, the more moribund the whole football experience will be and the tougher it will be re-animate the corpse on our hands. Stanford's best way to signal that football isn't dead on the Farm is to hire a firebrand who can breathe life into it.
