I know that this is a women's tennis thread. But it's worth mentioning that Stanford frosh Nishesh Basavareddy is in the men's singles semis as well.

Indeed! I tend to stay in my lane, but yeah, pretty amazing that one of our freshman--and the lower-ranked of our two frosh, to boot--is in the semis. 

The men's team is going to be dangerous, with the #1 recruiting class in 2020 and again in 2022. And if it's not this year, it might be next year, with three blue chips in the class, including one (Kyle Kang) who has been the #1 recruit for much of the past year (currently #3).
