I will say credit to UConn for taking it to Texas. You beat them by showing aggressiveness right back and they’ve done that all game. UConn has been more aggressive and physical.  Texas full credit presses and UConn just runs it right back at them and beats them with crisp passing and wide open shots. That’s how we should play against Texas but we never seem to handle it well.

Part of the reason UConn could attack the pressure is because they have a point guard (Muhl) who is a very good ball handler and has very good vision.  We have one now in Lepolo.  

Last year we struggled against the press because our three starting guards (Wilson, Hullx2) were not good ball handlers.  Thus our PF (Jones) had to handle the ball and when she would outlet to Wilson or Lacie, they would not attack the basket but rather play it safe and pull the ball out and wait for the defense to reset.
