UConn's aggressiveness beat Stanford in the national semis last April. It wasn't forcing turnovers. Stanford only had 11 TOs. But UConn was relentless on defense to prevent Stanford from getting good looks (Stanford only 4-23 on 3 pointers) and they were relentless going after the ball (outrebounded Stanford by 9). Say what you will about Auriemma, but his teams almost always play big games with a non-stop intensity that opponents can rarely match.
