It occurs to me that this is exactly the message that should be presented to the powers-that-be….by a competent AD. It could be supplemented by numbers showing the impact/revenue loss of wallowing in mediocrity, and how the Olympic and country club sports we are so proud of are thus endangered. But that firing Shaw is not the simple answer, and that action needs to be taken to address transfer/NIL and other issues (like “Chipotle gate”) as well.

But Bernie’s an expensive placeholder. Not hard to see.
