Don't get me wrong - we need a better plan for the portal and NIL. But a) we don't have a plan for either yet, just talk about having a plan, and b) that plan isn't going to have a big impact without better coaches.
Correct. Until the coaching improves, the quality and number of the players do not move the needle. The current coaching staff has managed to make 4-star players perform like 3-star players; and the team as a whole is inevitably less than the sum of the parts.
How to use the portal and NIL to our advantage will be vital. But even a winning approach in this area will bear no fruit if we have the same subpar coaches in place.
