A WVB player filed a lawsuit against Stanford blaming the university for her concussion not being diagnosed and handled properly.  At first I thought Stanford would quickly settle to avoid adverse publicity.  Just the opposite transpired.  After four years the lawyers continue to battle it out.  Legal websites say Stanford is playing hard ball and will likely appeal if they don't prevail on all counts.

This may be apples and oranges for reasons I don't know about.
