I knew one of Bonds' teammates from Serra's HS team. And frankly, this guy himself was one of the bigger jerks I'd ever run across. He said as big a jerk as Bonds was in public, he was a bigger jerk in private.

There were a lot of pricks on the Serra sports teams from that era. Speaking from personal experience…
