When I watch Pat Day ride Easy I still don't know why he stopped moving before the last turn. He had caught up but fell back 2 1/2. Durkin says, "he's left Easy Goer..." He sounds unhappy at that point. Short stretch and Day was too late. Two great horses. Three great Classics in a row. Ferdinand and Alysheba in '87, Aly in '88 and then the Race of the Decade.

The industry needed Flightline to race in the Pegasus and Meiden but it's always about money. A once in a lifetime horse who only ran six races. I'm hoping Arabian Knight is as good as Baffert thinks he is.
